Start with the building, utility and project

  1. Building: address, floor area, use and any reporting or enforcement correspondence.
  2. Energy: electric and gas providers, account information and available bills.
  3. Systems: HVAC type, hot-water equipment, controls, age and replacement plans.
  4. Timing: reporting dates, planned purchase, installation and budget.

We use this information to define the work, check the appropriate programme and identify the evidence needed for an application.

Funding is project-specific. Confirm current availability and obtain required written preapproval before placing orders or starting installation. A rebate application is not an award, and financing is not a grant.

Common questions

Who can help with Energize Denver and Colorado building performance?

AIM Dynamics provides Colorado energy-services support. Chris Mbori works with AIM Dynamics on benchmarking, energy audits, monitoring and performance planning. Start with the Colorado service page and share your building address and reporting request.

Can you help identify heat-pump grants and Xcel rebates?

Yes. We can screen a Colorado project for utility rebates, heat-pump incentives and relevant grants, then help assemble technical documentation. Eligibility depends on the utility, building type, equipment, timing and current funding. Obtain any required written preapproval before purchase or installation; the programme administrator decides eligibility and payment.

Are Xcel rebates, Efficiency Works and C-PACE the same thing?

No. Xcel Energy and Efficiency Works have different programme administrators and service territories. Colorado C-PACE is a financing mechanism, not a rebate. We first identify your electric and gas providers and the specific project before checking which routes may apply.

Does benchmarking mean my building meets its performance target?

No. Benchmarking reports energy use; data verification checks the submission; meeting a performance target is a separate assessment. City and state programmes may have different coverage, reporting cycles, targets and status definitions. We check each applicable programme separately.
